  Police in Anambra arrest 13 suspects over touting, other crimes. Following the order of Anambra State governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo abolishing touting and illegal revenue collection in the state ,  police command has arrested 13 persons. The state police command which paraded the suspects yesterday said they were arrested for engaging in activities banned by the Anambra State government. In a statement signed by  police  public relations Officer, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga accompanying the parade of the suspects stated that the police will continue to enforce the ban, while also fighting other forms of crime in the state. Seven persons have been charged to court over the inhuman treatment meted on the widow accused of killing her husband by angry mob. In a video trending online, the lady was stripped naked and all manner of abuses are rained on her for allegedly causing the death of her husband by commiting adultery.   BREAKING: EFCC RELEASES EX-GOV OBIANO. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Wednesday evening released Willie Obiano, former governor of Anambra State, on bail Mr Obiano’s passport was withheld as part of the bail conditions. The ex governor was arrested last week at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos as he was preparing  to board a flight to Houston, the United States. The arrest was said to have taken place at about 8.30p.m. last Thursday, hours after he left office as governor and, thus, lost his immunity from arrest and prosecution. Mr Obiano, who had been on the EFCC’s watchlist for some time, was arrested over corruption allegations. “Obiano was arrested for alleged misappropriation of public funds, including, N5 billion Sure-P and N37 billion security vote which was withdrawn in cash.   Anambra CP arrest two suspects for allegedly defiling four Minors of the same mother. The Commissioner of police Anambra Command Echeng Echeng has  remanded two men in a Correctional services centre for allegedly defiling four Minors of the same parent left under their care by their mother.   The suspects who were  remanded  after their arraignment at court are Mr Peter  Ezeala  61years of Mbano, Imo State and one Mr Elochukwu Igwilo 27years of Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra State.
