Onitsha Market Fire Outbreak: Soludo  Commiserates With  Victims, as CP advises public. Governor  Charles Soludo of Anambra state,  has commiserated with victims and owners of some shops at the Kano Street, beside Main Market, Onitsha, following a fire incident that occured in the market today. According to a statement signed by the governor's Press Secretary Mr Christian Aburime stated that the unfortunate fire incident occurred around 1:00 am, in the morning of Monday 28th, November, 2022 and officers of the Anambra State Fire Service were on ground to extinguish it. He said that Professor  Soludo expressed sadness over the incident that left shops and goods razed. In his words"I commiserate with the shop owners over the inferno. "As a responsive government, we are already on top of the situation, investigating the remote and immediate causes of the fire, as well as the losses incurred with a view to averting a future recurrence of the disaster", said Professor Sol

Twin sisters, Chukwubundo Chuma-Udeh and Chukwudiogo Chuma-Udeh, have successfully passed their medical doctors’ examinations in surgery and gynaecology, respectively.   Anambra: Police confirm another gunmen attack at Soludo’s hometown.  The Anambra state government and the state Police Command have confirmed an attack at Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s hometown, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, which led to death of two soldiers and some hoodlums. The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, a  statement said that the attacks took place at about 10am on Saturday at Afor-Uzor junction, Isuofia. I Ikenga confirmed that five of the criminals were neutralised, adding that others escaped with bullets wound . Isuofia, which had been under hoodlums attack since 2021, was where late Hon. Okechukwu Okoye of Aguata II constituency in state house of Assembly was kidnapped, and later beheaded by hoodlums about five months ago.
