Anambra state Police Commissioner Ikioye Orutugu was decorated this Tuesday  as Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG  Recall that AIG Orutugu was among the Senior Police Officers that sat for the promotional examination which accounts for his being shortlisted among those promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police. Also decorated was the immediate past Police Commissioner in Anambra state AIG Nnaghe Obono Itam who handed over to Orutugu as Police Commissioner. Ekenne Valentine; Says Nearly Two Years Without Answers Is an Indictment of Accountability*  The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has called for an urgent, independent and transparent investigation into the disappearance of Mr. Ekenne Valentine, a member of the Anambra State Vigilante Group (AVG), who reportedly disappeared during an official security operation in August 2024.
