  Lawmaker Gives Away Fuel To 500 Tricycle Riders As Birthday Gift. BY NKIRU NWAGBO Member representing Awka South 1 constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nigeria Henry Mbachu on Thursday marked his birthday by co-sponsoring free fuel to over 500 vehicles and individuals.  Mbachu who was joined by member, House of Representatives for Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. Lilian Oby Orogbu said the gesture was aimed at easing economic hardship among his constituents. He said the gesture which started at Epo Filling Station, Awka, would extend to other strategic stations.  Hurricane News gathered that the benevolence was not the first time the lawmaker had shown his love and care for his constituents.  He recently distributed millions of naira to support over 500 petty traders in the markets within Awka South 1 Constituency.    Two Policemen Confirmed Killed As Uba, Ozigbo Allegedly Escape Gunmen Attack In Anambra. Nkiru Nwagbo The duo of gubernatorial candidate of the People's Democratic Party now stalwart of the Labour Party Mr Valentine Ozigbo and Self styled godfather Chief Chris Uba were alleged to have escaped the barrels of the unknown gunmen in Anambra state last yesterday. The incident which occured at Uga junction in Aguata local government area of Anambra state led to the killing of two policemen who were in a convoy of vehicles suspected to belong to Chris Uba. The two police personnel had gone to clear the traffic jam at the junction when they ran into the gunmen who allegedly opened fire on them and in a prolonged exchange of fire they lost their lives. The operatives of the Anambra State Police Command have swung into action and launched intensive manhunt for the armed men responsible for attacking Uga community in Aguata Local Government Area of the State. Recall that gunmen suspected to have infiltrated into Anambra from a neighbouring state, stormed the popular Uga Roundabout at about 6:30pm on Thursday, in disguise as military personnel, and opened fire on policemen from Enugu State Police Command who escorted a convoy to Anambra, killing two of the officers. It was gathered that the armed men, who also injured a mentally-challenged man during the attack, eventually abandoned one of their vehicles and fled the scene shortly after the remaining officers engaged them in a shootout.
