Soludo Congratulates Anambra Twin Over Success In Medical Doctors' Exams.


Twin sisters, Chukwubundo Chuma-Udeh and Chukwudiogo Chuma-Udeh, have successfully passed their medical doctors’ examinations in surgery and gynaecology, respectively.

As a result, the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, who is highly elated about the development has congratulated them on the their feat for making the state and Nation proud.

A statement by the press secretary to the governor, Mr Christian Aburime in that regards read in part, “Synonymous with the brand Anambra as the light of the Nation, the Anambra-born medical doctor Chuma-Udeh working at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Amaku Awka, topped the list of fourty (40) medical students who emerged out of the five thousand (5000) that wrote the Primary Examination in Surgery.

“With her emergence, Dr. Prudence Chukwubundo Chuma-Udeh ranks highest in the entire West Africa; a feat that is in tandem with Governor Soludo’s vision of equipping Ndi Anambra that can be exportable abroad.

“Her twin sister, Chukwudiogo Chuma-Udeh also passed her primary examination in Gynaecology.Both twin sisters work at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Amaku.

“Indeed, the Soludo-led administration had always harped on building capacity that can favourably compete anywhere in the world and this feat is an energiser to what his government represents and has to offer.

“This good news is coming at the back of 5 teachers from Anambra who won the President’s Teachers’ Award last month.Two (2) out of the five (5) teachers from the state won overall best teachers in Nigeria.

“Said Governor Soludo, “the true Anambra spirit is known for hard work and excellence.

“Congratulations to Dr. Prudence Chukwubundo Chuma-Udeh for this feat. It’s a win for Anambra state and a win for Nigeria”.

“The Governor who is committed to making Anambra education sector the best in Nigeria has budgeted N8.4 billion to revamp the system.

“Recall, that the Governor recruited 5,000 teachers in the state for the sole purpose of improving the quality of teachers and teaching that will mould products that can be exportable abroad.

“Governor Soludo has on behalf of the State Government and good people of Anambra, felicitated with the twin sisters and charged them never to relent but continue to be shining lights to youths of this generation.”

  IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake.
