Soludo Finally Dissolves Cabinet Appoints New SSG Issues Commendation letters To Ex- Appointees

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra today Monday broke his prolonged silence over the fate of his appointees when in a final meeting announced the official dissolution of his Cabinet.

Giving clues to his possible new executive council members, the former Secretary to the State Government (  SSG ) Professor Solo Chukwulobelu has been dropped after serving former governor Willie Obiano and four years under Soludo.

In his place the former Commissioner for Budge And Economic Planning Mrs Chiamaka Nnake was appointed as the new Secretary to the State Government.

According to a statement by the Press Secretary to Soludo Mr Christian Aburime;

"Anambra State Governor,  Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR has approved the appointment of Mrs Chiamaka Nnake as the new Secretary to the State Government of Anambra State "

"Chiamaka Nnake, MBA, FCCA, is from Nawfia in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State and is a seasoned finance and public sector professional with over 13 years of experience spanning finance, strategy development, and economic planning"

Recall that last week shortly after his Inauguration for second term in office he  directed all political appointees to submit their handover notes to the most Senior Civil Servant  or the Permanent Secretary in the case of Commissioners.

At the meeting , Soludo thanked members of his former executive apologizing to some of them for whatever disagreements that he may had had with them ; more especially the Commissioner for Works Engr Ifeanyi Okeoma .

Soludo however commended Okeoma for his diligence in the past four years despite all challenges noting that Anambra state witnessed homongus socioeconomic transformation under his watch .

He also promised that the next four years would witness far more developmental strides in the state stating that Anambra have not seen anything yet.

At the meeting were members of the Executive Council who had been releaved of their respective assignments and handed them over their commendation letters wishing them well in their future endeavors.

Soludo announced that agencies such as the Anambra State Waste Management Agency( ASWAMA) may be scrapped  since the job of waste management has been handed over to the twenty one local government Councils in the state .

Also affected is the office of the Chief Medical Director CMD of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Awka which has been declared vacant .

Also the Managing Director of Anambra Internal Revenue Services Ozo Greg Ezeilo  was dropped and the position is currently vacant .

It is however not clear those that would make the new list of Soludo's  Cabinet members and other appointees as a source from m the Light House told this reporter that the list is close to his chest posting that there may be few announcements before the end of this Monday.
