NIgeria Cannot Development By Ethnic Or Religious Colorations Says Soludo

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state has stated that NIgeria as a country cannot develope through ethnic or religious colorations rather through the values and capacities that it's citizenry brings to the table.
Soludo who made this remark at the interdenominational service marking the end of his first term in office at the International Conference Center ICC Awka in Anambra state.
According to him ;
"We cannot develop this nation or Anambra state by seeing each other by the way we worship but by the values we bring to the state or country"
"In my administration what I want is the capacity to deliver and to work irrespective of your denomination or your state of origin or your tribe and you can see that we have an Accountant General from Abia state and countless appointees when are not from Anambra state"
"Even the employment of over 1,800 teachers as well as medical personnel; it was done based on the value that you can bring to the governance of Anambra state and not where you come from or your religion "
"Last time , I broke fast with the Muslim Community and we were all there together "
Soludo noted that his administration believes in the spirit of ecumenism which is the union of all denominations adding that he has always been on the vanguard of ecumenism hence the interdenominational service.
"Today we are having the interdenominational service comprising the Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal and I had hosted the Pentecostal community here in government house before"
"This forms the focal point of my administration and for me the interdenominational service while it was going on I was touched by this assemblage as well as the interdenominational choir here before us "he noted .
Soludo recalled that before seeking the support of the people of Anambra state, he prayed God asking for the wisdom to do what is right irrespective of whatever that it must be termed as thanking God for his Divine Mercy and Grace in the past four years and asking for more in the coming second term in office.
At his sermon , Archbishop Alex Ibezim of the Awka Anglican Diocese noted that what Soludo did was similar to the biblical King Solomon who asked God for an understanding mind and wisdom to serve the people of Israel.
"What King Solomon prayed God for was the wisdom and understanding to serve the people of God and the theme of this service is Living With Wisdom and Integrity"
"What the Governor is saying is ; God give me wisdom and give me knowledge to serve your people and that is why we are all here in this service "
"We give thanks to God who rules the affairs of men and leaders and with wisdom as a leader , you would have integrity and that has been the guiding principles of the last four years of Governor Charles Soludo administration" he said.
Archbishop David Onuorah , who represented the Primate of the Anglican Church of Nigeria Most Rev Dr Henry Ndukuba noted that the Anglican Communion felicitates with Soludo and his Deputy Governor Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim as they commence their second term in office.
Ndukuba lauded the four years of Soludo's administration noting that it is not only devine but that the grace of God Almighty is upon his administration.
Bishop Francis Wale Oke President Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria( PFN) described Anambra state as one of the greatest states in the country Haven produced men of women of integrity and also great achievers.
He noted that the Thanksgiving service marks the flagship of greater things to come to Anambra state urging the governor to remain steadfast with God in the governance of Anambra state.
