Enugwu-Agidi President General, Hon. Ebuka Onuorah, has called for prayers and safe journeys as community members prepare to return home for the Yuletide celebration.
Ahead of the festive season, Hon. Onuorah dedicated tomorrow’s Sunday service to the safe return of Enugwu-Agidi indigenes, urging all road users to drive responsibly, avoid speeding, and obey traffic rules.
In a statement delivered at his country home following a tour of the community’s roads, Hon. Onuorah emphasized that the homecoming should be an opportunity for residents to contribute positively to the town’s development.
He reiterated his administration’s zero tolerance for indecent behaviors and called for responsible celebration, reminding everyone that Enugwu-Agidi’s reputation for peace and order must be upheld.
Under Hon. Onuorah’s leadership, Enugwu-Agidi has seen major improvements in infrastructure and safety, including the rehabilitation of key roads and the construction of the Mkpasalaku Bridge, further cementing its status as one of Anambra State’s safest communities.
He urged residents to remain vigilant, report suspicious activities, and work with security agencies to maintain the town’s safety during the festive period.
