Anambra 2025: AA Candidate Pledges To Prioritize Security, Education, Employment Generation, All Inclusive Govt

NKIRU NWAGBO, AWKA

The Action Alliance (AA) Governorship candidate for the November 8 Gubernatorial election in Anambra state, Ozo Jeff Nweke, has pledged to prioritize security of lives and property, quality education, employment generation and all inclusive governance if elected governor of the state.

This is as over 35 support groups, mammoth crowd of the party faithful,  including Hausa, Yoruba, Women  associations, youth groups, leaders and elders of different Igbo communities as well as individuals at a flag off campaign ceremony held in Awka on Thursday endorsed the AA Candidate for the governorship election in the state.

He urged Ndi Anambra and the electorate to shun money politics or buying their votes with money by anybody so that they would have the much needed benefit of their mandate through their votes.

Ozo Nweke in his address said that as an expert on Security issues, he would provide quality security with well trained personnel to guarantee the safety of all and sundry across state.

"That we are here today is by the grace of God; I will say it because I believe in God. I believe that the campaign we are running today is not from any sponsorship."

The AA gubernatorial hopeful emphasized that, "This (November 8) election is a test for the poor, unemployed, the ahead and less privileged."

He called on Ndi Anambra, the party faithful and all accredited voters to use their votes wisely to cast their votes for him so that he would be their voice to bring about the needed changes.

"It's all about you because of you elect somebody into the Government House, it's your Governemnt and you are the governor. The people who were there before before have changed everything in their favour in order to enrich themselves; teachers are relegates to the background, the teachers that make Presidents and lawmakers.*

"This is the time for us to say no, we want quality education and quality economy. These things are possible," he said.

Nweke appealed to voters and people of the state, to shun  money politics in order to attract the desired change that would better their lot, adding that "as for me it has to start from the day o become the governor of the state."

"If I am powered by the people, it's going to be the government of the people and by he people because we do anything we will consult the people and we will sit down and know how our policies will positively affect the people."

He maintained that his government would be an all inclusive one with viable economic programmes and administration devoid of corruption, fight hunger and ensure employment for teeming unemployed youths roaming the streets.

The AA Candidate therefore called for healthy campaign message among all political parties as seeking elective position is not a do or die affairs rather it's about putting real smiles on the faces of millions of the poor and less privileged and not for self enrichment.
