Soludo's achievements in two years are remarkable... Speaker.

The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has commended Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for his remarkable achievements in the state's economy across various sectors over the past two years.

In a congratulatory message signed on behalf of the State Lawmakes, Speaker Udeze described Governor Soludo's tenure as eventful and highlighted his commitment to fiscal responsibility. 

 He noted that despite legislative approval for borrowing, Governor Soludo has prioritized the use of available funds, delivering tangible human capital and infrastructural development for Ndi Anambra (the people of Anambra).

The Speaker commended Governor Soludo's focus on his "Five Transformational Theoretical Framework" which according to him are Sustainable environment and urban development , Public service reform, Revised justice and security architecture,Infrastructural and economic transformation, as well as Human capital and social development.

He emphasized how these frameworks have guided Governor Soludo's comprehensive development efforts across the state.

Speaker Udeze outlined some of Governor Soludo's key achievements to  include, recruitment of 5,000 teachers with an ongoing recruitment drive for an additional 3,000, Employment of 400 healthcare workers alongside the construction and rehabilitation of hospitals, The implementation of free education.

He mentioned other achievements of the governor; Completion and ongoing road construction projects across numerous local government areas, Improved security measures leading to increased safety for residents among others.

The Speaker further expressed satisfaction with the quality of work, the pace of progress, and the number of roads addressed, including the Ekwulobia flyover bridge.


Speaker Udeze called for continued bipartisan support for Governor Soludo, urging all Ndi Anambra, regardless of political affiliation, to back his leadership. He expressed gratitude to the Governor for his commitment to the State House of Assembly,  including the recently completed reconstruction and beautification of the Legislative Complex and office block.  He also acknowledged the Governor's pledge to commence the second phase of the Assembly's transformation.


Rt. Hon. Udeze reaffirmed the State Legislature's commitment to working collaboratively with the Executive Arm. The Assembly will continue to support Governor Soludo's governance through the enactment of laws and resolutions focused on improving the lives of Anambra citizens and fostering the state's overall development.

A total of 17 Buildings have so far been marked for demolition in Uli Community in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November. According to the statement signed by its Director of Publicity Comerade Emma Powerful the body said that it has to call off the Sit At Home Order following the appeal by the elders in the South East coupled with the grave economic implications of the strike on the people.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake.
