UBWFAN Awards  CP , LG Commissioner  For Community Peace / Security .

The duo of Anambra state Police Commissioner Mr Aderemi Adeoye and the Commissioner for Local government , Chieftaincy and Town Union Affairs Chief Tony Collins Nwabunwanne were yesterday honoured by the Ultimate  Business Women And Farmers Association of Nigeria (UBWFAN) for maintaining peace , and security in the 177 Communities in the area.



Presenting the Award of Excellence to the two Commissioners the National President of the Association Hon Nkiru Nwagbo explained that since the inception of the Police Commissioner Aderemi Adeoye the fight against insecurity has been successful adding that the last Christmas and New Year seasons witnessed a crime free celebration.

Nwagbo also noted that the lingering conflicts in most Communities in Anambra state have been resolved by the Commissioner for Local government Chieftaincy and Town Union Affairs Chief Tony Collins Nwabunwanne a development she said has restored the confidence of the masses on the administration of Gov Charles Soludo.



"Our association don't just present awards to anyone because we consider the person's impact and roles in the socioeconomic development of the society" 



"As for the Commissioner of Police Mr Aderemi Adeoye he has remained focus in the fight against insecurity and several camps and hide outs of the miscreants have been dislodged while victims of kidnapping have been rescued unharmed" 


"During the last Christmas and New Year seasons the people of Anambra state and residents in the state enjoyed a blissful season which is to the credit of the Command" 


"Before now there have been several issues concerning Community crisis over leadership of the communities but at the inception of the Gov Charles Soludo administration under the office of the Commissioner for Local government and Town Union Affairs Chief Tony Collins Nwabunwanne all the conflicts have been resolved and peace have been restored in  those affected towns and that explains why he deserves this award" she said.


In his response Police Commissioner Aderemi Adeoye noted that reward for good works means more work adding that under his watch Anambra state would remain a law abiding state devoid of the activities of hoodlums and touts.


Tony Collins Nwabunwanne thanked the association for the award and promised to continue to partner with the association in all the activities of the Ministry.
