Anambra CP Reads Riot Act To Cultists.

Anambra State Police Commissioner, CP Aderemi Adeoye has vowed to clamp down on cultists running amok in the State Capital, Awka.

The Commissioner, who described the cultists as murderers said they are not fit to live among decent human beings in the society.

In a statement signed by DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, 
Police Public Relations Officer
Anambra State Command. Awka the Commissioner ordered  an all out  operation against cultists and their sponsors in the State.

While describing those sponsoring the cultists  to kill humans beings as cowards insisting that Anambra Police Command will deal decisively  with  the heartless cultists who take pleasure in killing people. 

He warned that no one should call him  for release of any cultist arrested in the coming clamp down unless they want to be disgraced.

 He assured the good people of Anambra State that their peace and tranquility that  was punctured by the recent cult-related killings in the capital city will soon be restored.

The Commissioner solicited the cooperation of all law abiding citizens  in ridding the society off the menace of cultism.

A total of 17 Buildings have so far been marked for demolition in Uli Community in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state. Similarly a heavy  deployment of officers and men of the Police and the Army have been made to commence day and night strikes in the four villages that make up the community in order to restore peace and security in the area.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November. According to the statement signed by its Director of Publicity Comerade Emma Powerful the body said that it has to call off the Sit At Home Order following the appeal by the elders in the South East coupled with the grave economic implications of the strike on the people.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates.   Ada Jesus dies at 27 in Abuja hospital days after an encounter with Odumeje. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake.
