Anambra Police Command Receives 184 newly recruited Officers.


Anambra Police Command has received 184 newly pass out 2020 recruits intake from Police College Oji- river in Enugu state.


Addressing the newly recruited police officers at the headquarters in Amawbia, today, the Commissioner of police Anambra State, Echeng Echeng observed that the success of the officers are dependent on the quality of character, discipline and professionalism.

The Commissioner charged them to resolve not to engage in any act that will unedifying their good names and the Nigeria Police Force. 




The CP commended the  Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman, and his management team on the initiative of manpower development and deployment of these officers in line with the concept of community policing principles.

He also said  that with deployment,the Command was more motivated in enhancing public safety and peace in the state.



The Senior Officers present are: Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operation, DCP Aderemi Adeoye, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration, DCP Peter Ozigi, Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP Anietie Eyoh, among others.
