Ojukwu"s Wife ; Bianca / Obiano"s Wife Ebele Fight At Soludo Inauguration.

The inauguration of Prof Charles Soludo as governor of Anambra state yesterday turned into a flight between the widow of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu ; Amb Bianca Ojukwu and the wife of former governor of Anambra state Mrs Ebele Obiano .


Ebele Obiano who came late to the function after her husband Willie Obiano and all the dignitaries had arrived and the swearing in process had commenced was earlier not allowed to enter the government house Awka by security operatives hence she had to walk to the arena of the event .


Few minutes later Ebele Obiano walked to where Bianca Ojukwu was sitting and touched her muttering a statement and Bianca three times rebuffed her but Ebele continued .


It was at that point that Bianca got up and landed a slap and Ebele returned the slap and the fight insured and it took the intervention of the former adviser to the former governor on inter party affairs Chief Ben Obi and other party members to stop the fight.


While the fight was on former governor Obiano remained calm and was looking straight until the party faithfuls dragged Ebele to where he was sitting and he pulled her down to sit with him.


In what looked like a reaction to the fight Gov Soludo during his speech spoke extemporal said that ; "In my watch this place is a place of law and order .


And this state under me is a state of law and order and if cannot respect law and order, you might as well go ; he said.


During his speech; Soludo announced that in the next one week he would present the list of members of his executive council adding that he would conduct local government election on or before two years.


He also announced that the insecurity problems in the state would be taken care of while urging the members of Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB and MASSOB to join hands to ensure peace .


Immediately Soludo walked down from the podium, Obiano moved straight, embraced and congratulated him, and, was driven away with his wife even before Soludo inspected guard of honour mounted for him by the men of the state police command.

A total of 17 Buildings have so far been marked for demolition in Uli Community in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November. According to the statement signed by its Director of Publicity Comerade Emma Powerful the body said that it has to call off the Sit At Home Order following the appeal by the elders in the South East coupled with the grave economic implications of the strike on the people.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates. Also today the tribunal judges led by it's Chairman Hon Justice D Mohammed granted the Exparte Motions filed by Prof Charles Soludo of APGA and Sen Andy Uba of APCto inspect materials used during the November 6th governorship election in the area. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake.
