Oluchi and Onyeka tie nuptial knots

They say love is a beautiful thing, so it happened as Oluchi Udeh from Anambra state said yes to the Delta state born, Onyeka Oluka. The wedding which took place at St Vincent Catholic Church, Ogidi was attended by dignitaries from both couple's families and friends who graced the occasion. 


The groom, Onyeka Oluka expressed his joy as he shared his journey to matrimony, 

"We met in a special way and progressed as friends. She is an epitome of beauty, intelligence plus a heavy dose of humility. I made a decision to spend my life with her and I appreciate God for giving such a precious gift as her to me.

 

"Our journey started with a step. Like a dream, it became clearer day by day though not without obstacles. From the beginning, we knew we were made in heaven for each other with common destiny.  So we kept on pushing our dreams to reality; and conquering  the obstacles and challenges on our paths, ' he said. 


The reception took place at the family home of Late Emmanuel Udeh where guests were treated lavishly to different choice of meals alongside other side attractions.

A total of 17 Buildings have so far been marked for demolition in Uli Community in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state. Similarly a heavy  deployment of officers and men of the Police and the Army have been made to commence day and night strikes in the four villages that make up the community in order to restore peace and security in the area.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November. According to the statement signed by its Director of Publicity Comerade Emma Powerful the body said that it has to call off the Sit At Home Order following the appeal by the elders in the South East coupled with the grave economic implications of the strike on the people.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates. Also today the tribunal judges led by it's Chairman Hon Justice D Mohammed granted the Exparte Motions filed by Prof Charles Soludo of APGA and Sen Andy Uba of APCto inspect materials used during the November 6th governorship election in the area.   Ada Jesus dies at 27 in Abuja hospital days after an encounter with Odumeje. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake. But, the eccentric cleric boldly pointed out that he would not forgive her, and instead, laid more curses, including saying she would die of her sickness, as she lay on the floor, with her family members pleading her case.
