The MD / CEO of National Inland Water Ways NIWA Chief George Moghalu has described the Federal High Court judgement against the candidacy of Sen Andy Uba as a vindication of the wishes and prayers of the entire members of the party in the state.

Recall that Chief George Moghalu who was one of the aspirants for the ticket of the party had gone to court to challenge the emergence Sen Andy Uba as candidate of the party contending that there was no primary election conducted by the party.

Speaking with reporters in Awka yesterday Moghalu noted that the Federal High Court judgement was long expected and a vindication of the prayers and larmentations of the members of the party over the imposition of an unpopular candidate on the party.

According to the Director General of Moghalu campaign organisation Arch Okey Chukwuogo who spoke on behalf of Moghalu ; Andy Uba has no locus going to the tribunal to challenge the victory of Prof Charles Soludo the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA who won the November 6th 2021 gubernatorial election in the state.

"The judgement is expected because nobody sees illegality and calls it legal and fair is fair and it is not good to take what belongs to everyone.

"I will be surprise if he goes to the Appeal Court and what are you appealing for when it is clear that no primary election was conducted in Anambra APC and by the judgement it means that Andy Uba was not a candidate in the said election.

"He has no locus to go to the Election Petitions Tribunal to challenge the victory of the APGA candidate that won the election which he was not part of and he did not participate in .

"You should also Known that the current crisis in the party was as a result of what Andy Uba did and the former state Chairman of the party behaved badly by supporting the charade that was described as primary election and the chairman is gone and our party was waxing stronger before the primary election and today we are growing stronger and better and we are poised to return the glory of the party.

Meanwhile Sen Andy Uba has gone on appeal against the judgement and according to his Media Aide Mr Emeka Onyia the judgement was a miscarriage of Justice adding that his boss has confidence in the Appeal Court in upturning the judgment of the lower Court.

He urged his supporters not to lose sleep as the Appeal Court would do the needful.
