The declaration of a state of emergency on Anambra roads by Governor Elect Prof Charles Soludo has attracted the patronage of a construction firm known as Just Ceasar Nig Ltd following road maintenance project embarked upon by the company.

It would be  recalled that shortly after Soludo was declared winner of the Anambra governorship election in November, he announced that a state of emergency has been declared on all the roads in the area noting that far reaching plans have been put in place to tackle the fallen roads in the state.

In the last three weeks Just Ceasar Nig Ltd has carried out road rehabilitation of Awka Capital City such as Arroma junction, Ifite road , Nodu road and New Goodwill roads.

Speaking with reporters in Awka yesterday the CEO of the company Mr  Ceaser Sam Obidile noted that it has become instructive for all hands to be on deck on Anambra roads while awaiting the ascension of Soludo into the saddle.

According to Obidile"So what I do is to get some materials from my site and feel the pot holes and those gullies along our roads and I also pay my workers who sand fill those places.

We are committed towards assisting the Governor Elect who has declared a state of emergency on the roads that are not motorable in our dear state  and we urge all and sundry to do something within their own areas while we await our governor.

"As a developer , Anambra needs a paradigm shift in the area of waste management which has also affected the fate of our roads because during the rainy season those wastes block the drains and water channels there by eroding the roads.

Obidile further urged Soludo to engage the services and advise of professionals and well experienced Estate Developers in giving our Cities the best and also ensure that local contractors are are engaged in the award of contracts.
