  Five dead, 5 injured in a fatal road crash along Nnewi-Okigwe by Amichi road By Uchenna Ezeadigwe  Awka  A fatal road traffic crash occurred along the Nnewi-Okigwe road by Amichi, resulting in the loss of lives. Reports indicate that the crash claimed five lives: two adult males, one male child, and two female children. Five other individuals sustained injuries. In total, ten people (4 male adults, 1 female adult, 3 male children, and 2 female children) were involved in the incident, which took place on Friday, July 25, 2025, at approximately 21:39 hrs.   Confusion over number of deaths as Gunmen, JTF exchange fire In Ekwulobia  NKIRU NWAGBO,AWKA. There is growing confusion over the number of deaths and casualties in Ekwulobia Aguata local government area of Anambra state following the exchange of gun fire between gunmen and the Joint Task Force on Security this Wednesday morning.
