Anambra Guber: Andy Uba problems deepens as Palace Coup looms.

The fate of Andy Uba, Anambra Governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress in Anambra state deepened yeasterday as faction against his emergence as party candidate has concluded arrengement to remove the acting Executive led by Basil Ejidike.

With this development the party Stakeholders who are against Andy have distanced themselves from the plan of their candidate to go to Election Petition Tribunal. 

A meeting was conveined at the Marble Arch Hotel Awka for some stakeholders of the party to revive the party following it's failure of the party in the last election.

But the Acting Chairman Ejidike stormed at the venue of the meeting insisting that he is not awear of any APC stakeholders meeting hence urging the management of the hotel to stop the meeting.

But speaking on behalf of the stakeholders who called for the meeting the Director General of Chief George Moughalu Campaign Organization, Arch Okey Chukwuogo told reporters that Ejidike has no right to stop the meeting contending that it is as a result of Ejidikes role in the non conduct of the party primary election which did not produce an elected gubernatorial candidate of the party.

"What we have concluded is that we have to move forward and put our house in order and that is why we are putting in place a new executive of the party.

We are many and as loyal party and card carrying members of the APC we have passed a vote of no confidence of the Acting Executive of our party to enthrone a new executive and be it known to all and sundry that we are not in support of the party or candidate going to the tribunal because he was never candidate of our party.

He noted that no amount of intimidation can stop us from bringing on board a new transparent and all inclusive executive of our party devoid of the charade that took place in the perssived gubernatorial election primary election.

Mean while the suite filed by one of the APC gubernatorial aspirants Chief George Muoghalu is being expected for judgement before December this year .

The judgement if delivered against the candidate of the APC Sen Andy Uba sinks his chances at the the Election Petitions Tribunal.

  IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates. Also today the tribunal judges led by it's Chairman Hon Justice D Mohammed granted the Exparte Motions filed by Prof Charles Soludo of APGA and Sen Andy Uba of APCto inspect materials used during the November 6th governorship election in the area. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church.
