Security Operatives Rescue Abducted Anambra NDLEA Boss  NKIRU NWAGBO , AWKA The Director of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA  Anambra Command Mr Daniel Onyeisi has been rescued from his abductors. A  statement signed by Anambra Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the release yesterday being Sunday.   10 year old son of Police Inspector kills father in accidental discharge   NKIRU NWAGBO Tragedy struck in Awka the capital city of Anambra State when a ten year old boy , son of a serving police officer, accidentally shot and killed his father, Inspector Okolie Amechi in a shocking domestic incident. The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga in a statement said the incident happened inside the family residence in Awka . Ikenga said that the young boy, unknowingly handling an AK 47 rifle assigned to his father, discharged the weapon. According to him, the bullet struck Inspector Amechi fatally in the back and also injured one of his children in the hand. The wounded child is reportedly responding to treatment in a hospital while Inspector Amechi was confirmed dead on arrival by the attending doctor.
